How Multiglow works
Everything Multiglow does, in the order you'll meet it, from sign-up to a busy Saturday.
Getting started
About fifteen minutes from sign-up to a booking page you can share.
- Create your account
- Sign up with your salon name, phone and the short name you want in your booking-page link. You can change it later in Settings, but customers may have saved the old link.
- Confirm your email
- We email you a 6-digit code. Type it in to confirm the address is yours. It expires after 10 minutes, and you can ask for a new one.
- Add a card, get your first month free
- You add a card on Stripe’s secure page before entering the dashboard. Nothing is charged for 30 days. Cancel from Settings → Billing before then and you pay nothing.
- Fill in Settings
- Your salon details, logo and booking-page colour, and the booking rules: how far ahead customers can book, the minimum notice before a booking, and your cancellation policy.
- Add services, then staff
- A booking needs a service and someone who does it. The dashboard shows a short checklist until both are in place.
- Share your link
- Put your booking link in your Instagram bio, your WhatsApp Business profile and the “Book” button on your Google Business Profile.
Services
Everything a customer can book.
- Name, length and price
- The length sets how much of the calendar a booking takes. Prices are in ringgit.
- Prices by level
- If your stylists have levels (Junior, Senior, Director…), give each service a price per level. Leave a level blank to use the normal price. Customers see the right price for the stylist they pick.
- Who does it
- Tick the stylists who offer each service. Only they can be booked for it.
- Online or in-salon only
- Switch a service off for online booking if you only want to book it yourself, such as a long colour correction that needs a consultation first.
Staff
Who works when, and what they do.
- Weekly hours
- Set each person’s working hours per day. Split shifts are fine, for example 10–2 and 4–8.
- Time off
- Add leave as dates. Nobody can book that person on those days. Bookings already made are not cancelled; Multiglow tells you how many there are so you can move them.
- Levels
- Name your own levels and put them in order. A stylist’s level shows on the booking page next to their name.
- Their own “My day” link
- Open a stylist and create a private link. On their phone it shows only their bookings for the day, and it refreshes every minute. They don’t need a login. Make a new link if one is shared by mistake; the old one stops working.
- Commission
- Set a salon-wide rate, a rate per level, or a rate for one person. The rate is saved on each visit when it’s completed, so changing a rate later never rewrites past pay.
- What it costs
- 3 active staff are included. Each extra active person is RM 35.00/month. When someone leaves, deactivate them and the bill goes down.
Your booking page
What your customers see, open 24 hours a day.
- How a customer books
- They choose a service, then a stylist or “Any available”, then a day and time, then give their name and phone number. The booking is confirmed straight away and appears on your calendar.
- Only real free times
- Times come from your staff hours, time off, closures, existing bookings and your booking rules. Days with nothing free are greyed out. Two customers can never take the same slot.
- “Any available”
- The customer doesn’t mind who. The booking lands unassigned and you pick the stylist from the calendar. Multiglow only offers the time if someone will genuinely be free.
- Customers change their own bookings
- Every confirmation has a link to move or cancel. The customer enters the phone number they booked with, reviews the new time and confirms. Inside your minimum-notice window they’re told to contact the salon instead.
- Closed days
- Add holidays and closures in Settings. Online booking stops on those dates. You can still add a booking yourself from the calendar if you make an exception.
Calendar
Where the day is run.
- Day and week views
- One column per stylist, with “Any available” bookings shown until they’re assigned.
- Walk-ins and phone bookings
- Click New booking. You can book any time, including right now, outside the slots offered online. Multiglow still stops double-booking a stylist.
- Change a booking
- Open it and choose Change booking to move the time, switch stylist or switch service. You see the old and new side by side before saving, and the price updates to match.
- Finish the visit
- Mark it Completed, Cancelled or No-show. Completing it adds the loyalty stamps and records commission.
Customers
Every customer is created automatically the first time they book.
- Find anyone fast
- Search by name or phone, then call or open a WhatsApp chat in one tap.
- History and notes
- See each person’s visits and loyalty card, and keep notes such as allergies or a preferred colour formula.
- Merge duplicates
- If someone booked under two numbers, merge them. Visits and stamps move to the record you keep.
- Data deletion requests
- Customers can ask for their data to be removed from your booking page. Requests appear here for you to complete, as Malaysia’s PDPA requires.
Loyalty
A digital stamp card that fills itself.
- Set your card
- Choose how many stamps make a full card, stamps per visit, an optional welcome bonus for new customers, an optional halfway reward, and whether stamps expire.
- Stamps add up on their own
- Every completed visit adds stamps. There is nothing to punch or remember.
- Customers check their card
- From your booking page they enter their phone number and see how close they are to the next reward.
Reports
For owners and managers.
- Revenue
- The trend over time, revenue by category and by stylist. Click a stylist for their full breakdown.
- Customers
- New, returning and no-shows for the period, plus your top customers by spend.
- Commission
- What each stylist has earned from completed services in the period.
More than one branch
One login and one bill for every branch.
- Add a branch
- In Settings, add a location with its own name, booking page, staff and services. Each extra location is RM 99.00/month and includes 3 staff.
- Each device keeps its own branch
- Pick the branch from the top of the dashboard. That tablet or phone then stays on it, whatever the other devices show, so each outlet’s tablet only shows that outlet.
- Compare branches
- Reports → Compare branches puts every branch side by side: revenue, visits, average visit, new customers, no-shows and revenue per stylist.
Shared tablet and owner PIN
One login for the whole team, with owner areas kept to the owner.
- Set a PIN
- In Account, choose a 4–6 digit PIN. You confirm it with your account password, so only you can change it.
- What it locks
- Reports, Settings, commission rates, billing and switching branch. The calendar, customers and bookings stay open for the team.
- Unlock and lock
- Enter the PIN when asked. That device stays unlocked for 15 minutes of use; tap “Lock owner areas” in the menu when you hand it back.
- Wrong guesses
- Five wrong PINs in a row pause PIN entry for 15 minutes.
Billing
Self-serve. You never need to contact us to pay, change or cancel.
- What you pay
- RM 129.00/month including 3 staff, plus RM 35.00 for each extra active staff member and RM 99.00 for each extra location. The pricing page has a calculator.
- Card, invoices, cancelling
- Settings → Billing → Manage billing opens Stripe, where you update your card, download invoices or cancel.
- If a payment fails
- Your booking page stays live while the card is retried over the next couple of weeks, and the dashboard reminds you to update it.
